Electronic musician and composer Larry Gaab (b.1950), a native of the United States, creates electroacoustic works in his studio in Chico, California, U.S.A.. His body of work combines a unique blend of invented electronic and conventional acoustic instruments. The pieces combine elements of western avant-garde classical and the ethnic musics from India, Africa, and the Middle-East. The compositions are a mix of improvised and composed portions. Besides music itself, he finds inspiration from philosophical questions and psychology processes.
