The baritone violin’s arrestingly “throaty” timbre (with its propensity, to my mind, for very rhythmic music) and the clavichord’s guitar-like qualities suggested to me composing a partial homage to the “furioso” style of Vivaldi and other Italian Baroque composers, with the violin’s bow “furiously” executing volleys of rapid notes.
